Reducing Paper Mail

We often get asked the question: “Is there a way to stop getting so much paper from you guys?” regarding the amount of mail that our clients receive in the mail. It is a tough question because there are some things that you are required to receive based on industry regulations. However, there are a few things that you can do to curtail a lot of the paper mailings.

 

If you are currently registered for e-delivery on Pershing’s NetXInvestor platform, you can log in to your account and select to have all documents or certain documents delivered to you electronically or through the mail.  Advisory accounts have quarterly statements and are generated by Cetera; unfortunately these do not have a paperless option yet.

 

How to Edit Your E-Delivery Preferences:

When you log in to NetXInvestor  go to the Communications tab > Settings > E-delivery Preferences > Edit

 

At this point you can select which documentation you would like to receive electronically.  Please DO NOT choose to have your tax documents sent electronically. We believe it is still a good practice to have your 1099’s and other tax forms sent in paper form in the mail so it is easier to hand those over to your tax advisor.

 

If you are having trouble logging in please call our online support team. They will be able to give you a temporary password over the phone or help with any other issues.
