Financial Advisor

“My mission is to provide you with a long-term approach of growing, preserving and managing your wealth.”

Brett joined Carroll Financial in 2006. A native of Alabama, he graduated with a degree in Business Management from Auburn University where he was a four year letterman on the golf team. Prior to Carroll Financial, he played professional golf for nine years.

Brett works closely with his clients through the financial planning process, with close attention to a patient and long-term approach.  For retirees, his focus is on replacing income they had grown accustomed to before retiring. For younger clients, Brett develops a holistic plan for all of their goals including retirement, children’s education, debt aversion, estate and legacy planning.  In 2016 Brett earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation because a big part of his business has been navigating clients through this tough transition.

Brett has been active in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, has served on the Board of Directors at Carolina Golf Club and has also served on the Board of Governors for the Childress Klein YMCA. Currently Brett is involved with the non-profit organizations Girls on the Run, Room in the Inn, and Children’s Home Society of North Carolina.

Brett and his wife Lindsay have lived in Charlotte since 2001 and have two children, Henry and Fran. They attend Hope Community Church and live in the Cotswold area.
